Excursion “Dilijan Forest + Lake Sevan”

These are the places where you’ll catch yourself thinking: “This is the real Armenia.” We’ll begin with Haghartsin Monastery (10th–13th centuries), hidden deep in the heart of Dilijan’s forest. The ancient stone walls are covered with moss, and the silence here feels almost sacred. Next — Parz Lake. Secluded and surrounded by trees, it’s the kind of place where you just want to sit quietly by the water. A favorite spot for both locals and visitors. Then we’ll stroll through Old Dilijan Street, where everything breathes the charm of the 19th century — wooden balconies, stone walls, handmade crafts, and cozy little shops. After that, we’ll head to Lake Sevan — the largest high-altitude lake in Eurasia. They call it the jewel of Armenia — and you’ll see why with your own eyes. At the top of the peninsula stands Sevanavank Monastery (9th century), offering a breathtaking panoramic view: the lake’s shimmering blue surface and endless skies above.
