Excursion “Enchanting Lori”

This journey takes you to the northern region of Armenia, where mountains are wrapped in mist, monasteries have stood for centuries, and silence feels filled with ancient prayers. Lori is a land of breathtaking beauty and serene stillness. Sanahin — an ancient monastery with a warm, almost cozy atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you want to pause, listen to the silence, and feel time slow down. Haghpat — Armenia’s largest medieval monastery, built between the 10th and 13th centuries, standing on a high plateau. The majesty of stone, the mountain air, and a sense of timeless significance. Both Sanahin and Haghpat are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Akhtala — a truly unique monastery, famous for its vibrant 13th-century frescoes covering over 900 square meters. The wall paintings feel almost alive. Odzun — one of Armenia’s oldest Christian basilicas (6th century), with a domed structure and arched gallery, perched on the edge of a spectacular gorge. On the way there, we’ll stop at a scenic viewpoint with breathtaking panoramas. Price is for the entire group (includes car + guide), not per person.
